My sister recently got into both schools and I don't know much about either one i.e. college experience, academics, etc. Can anyone please weigh in on what the pros and cons are for both schools?

Thanks!

My buddy is in USP but he always complains about how they want to fail you so you can pay extra year of tuition. Plus, Philadelphia is one of the most saturated cities in terms of pharmacy jobs and they also have three pharmacy schools around, so I would avoid going to USP.

I went to USP. Generally hear about the same complaints about both USP and MCPHS. I survived the curriculum and didn't have to do an extra year, but some do. Philly is crazy saturated and I was unable to secure a job there out of residency, but if she's OK with moving then it doesn't matter. Really not much of a "college experience" at USP, but I hear there's none at MCPHS as well...at least we had a nice gym.
