MCW requires credit report?

Where the hell do I get one of these so called "credit reports". Can I get them online and are they free? Should I wait for the school's decision before ordering one online? It better not cost me an arm and a leg...

i didn't realize that we had to provide the report, I just looked at the sheet and figured it was a form informing you that they did a credit check on you. I guess I should probably get started on that even though this is about the worst possible time for a credit report considering my credit cards are almost maxed out due to airfare, etc. o well.

www.equifax.com does them instantly online for about $10. One of G'towns post-bac programs requires a credit report as well, and they told us that is where we should go to get one.

You can get a credit report off the Internet from Transunion or Experian as well. I think they are just transunion.com and experian.com. Mine cost me $12.00. I just mailed the whole printout from the Internet.

They made a big deal about it when I interviewed there. I guess they didn't every time (or people don't listen).

They said don't wait for the decision, cause if you are accepted, they give you a deadline for when it has to be in to them, and there's not always time to order one then and get it to them by the deadline. They said if there's problems on your report, or it's just a busy time for the credit report people, it could take a while.
