MD applying to ER Osteopathic Residencies?

I am posting this ? for a friend...

Can US-MDs apply for Osteopathic residencies in ER? I saw a list, but do not know if they are exclusive to DOs. I know that MD programs accept DO applicants, does it go both ways?

Do any MDs ever do this? Why? Why not?

They must be Osteopathic Medical School graduates. It says that loud and clear...remember, OMT is a requirement during residency also.
