MD Chance?

    Solid Recommendations. Solid EC's. Re-applicant. 28 MCAT (10-9-9), after a 25 retake.

    GPA: 3.35 --> 2.4 --> 3.85 --> 3.78 --> 3.83 --> 3.94 --> 4.0 --> 4.0 (Strong upward trend)

    Applied with a 3.5/3.33. After senior year, should be 3.65/3.42.

    Plan on submitting on day one, broadly, both MD and DO.

    New York resident. Should I spend the time & money applying broadly to MD? Or focus on just DO?

    1. This should be in the "What are my chances?" board.
    2. How many hours of clinical experience do you have? This is a fairly important factor.
    3. Your MCAT is a bit low. Unless you have some kind of spectacular, uncommon EC (volunteer work in an under-served area abroad or something like that), you may wanna shoot for mid/high-tier DO schols and low-tier MD schools.
