How will the upcoming MD/DO residency merger affect military residencies? For context I’m entering an osteopathic school and applying to the Army HPSP.

How will the upcoming MD/DO residency merger affect military residencies? For context I’m entering an osteopathic school and applying to the Army HPSP.

It will have zero impact. All of the military residencies are ACGME with D.O. accepting them as valid for their licensing purposes.
