Many med schools offer MD/JD programs - if they've got a med school and a law school, odds are good that they have a joint program.
My best friend's father was a practicing orthopedic surgeon for many years. His career was ended by a wrist injury on his cutting hand, so he went back and got his law degree (props to him for not sitting around on disability!). From talking with him, it seems that he does a lot related to malpractice law, be it taking depositions from other doctors so he can ask very specific questions, providing expert testimony, personal injury cases, etc.
It's a touchy subject though. Obviously you can't practice both at the same time; the stress would be unimaginable. I would only recommend it if you are highly interested in the interface between medicine and law, ie all the medico-legal issues swirling about this country right now (assisted suicide, abortion, etc.).
