General MD/MPH

Currently, I am thinking about applying for MD/MPH. If I were to change my mind in the future, is it possible to drop the MPH and just complete the MD? Or does this vary by school? I am interested in environmental health, which is why I want to go for the MPH as well, but not sure if future me will be fine with just an MD.

Usually yes depending on mechanism, unless you were admitted to a program specifically funded to take both for a committment (as in, your tuition was defrayed by you taking both programs with a committment to public service afterwards for medical public health).
