the point was I could change where i apply if i got the right feedback on where people were really admitted with certain credentials

ah yea, but requirements and true results are two entirely different things

The MSAR lists admissions course requirements, but it also lists average statistics for people who decided to matriculate to that school (which, of course, implies that they were admitted.) They don't do this for every school, but for most of them. I think that's what he meant. I don't think that med schools list "cut-off GPAs," with the possible exception of NYU.
