I am on 2 waiting lists and the bottom of both. I am hanging by a thread! I called the other day to one of the schools and they mentioned that they will probably not get to me.

To prevent insanity, I recommend making alternate plans for the next year. I was in a similar situation this year. Since I was waitlisted @ 2 good schools which don't have a lot of waitlist movement, I let go for this cycle & have just resubmitted amcas.

Re-evaluate your situation, depending on which schools you were waitlisted @, how many interviews you had, the strength of your app, & decide whether you'll be reapplying & when would be the best time.

I haven't withdrawn from the UCSF & UCLA waitlists, since my mom continues to recite 3 rosaries for me everyday.

However, psychologically, I've let go so that I can continue w/ the reapplication process instead of tormenting myself everyday in the UC waitlist threads.

Have you decided bt Drexel or Temple, btw? I'd love to hear your thoughts since I'll be reapplying to both of those schools.
