Hi,
Rank Day (an appropriate name, no?) is 4 days away, and I still haven't decided between Med-Peds and straight medicine, though I put in a preliminary list and certified it for fear of the computers crashing all this week. Are there any other wafflers out there? I'm trying to decide between Stanford and UCSF on the IM side vs Duke, Baylor, and UCSD on the MP side. Don't know yet if I'm going to stack programs or not. Any advice would be appreciated. BTW, I plan on doing a fellowship either way in either Cards, Heme/Onc or ID, and have a coexistent interest in international medicine. Luck to everyone cramming their lists in at the last minute, for whatever specialty, as I am. Also, a totally unrelated question - how good is Wash U's neurosurg program?
