Do med schools do road shows (i.e. - come to your undergrad campus and do a 2 hour presentation and Q&A) or hold Open Houses on their own campuses? In other words, I'd like a bit more than browsing websites, brochures, USN&WR rankings and relying on secondary assessments.

I'm in LA and willing to travel! Thanks.

what some schools had, like Berkeley, was a med school fair sponsored by like Kaplan or the Princeton Review.

in that fair, there was a good amount of information to maybe around 30 schools, and representatives from at least 10 or schools came to talk about their schools and the admissions process and things of that nature. i found them to be very helpful. each school had about 15-20 minutes to present and most of them stayed after the presentations to answer questions personally.

if you are attending school right, i would ask if you guys have this...or if you are out of school, then look up your local universities and ask if they participate in these type of activities...

I've definately seen some schools have presentations at my college (Emory) has had a grad school fair with a couple of med schools in attendance (MCG and Creighton I believe). I guess it just depends on where you live though.
