Does anyone know if it is possible to go to med school overseas, possibly in england or wales, and then practice in the US? Some advice or stories would help.

Its always possible, but the two major downsides to this decision are the cost and impacts on residency placement. Overseas schools tend to end up costing you more than US allo/osteo schools, and thereafter you're considered an international graduate to US residency programs, which can put you at a disadvantage when it comes time for you to match. Foreign graduates do, at times, match into competetive programs, but its a point that should not be taken lightly before heading abroad.
