so i know that many med schools have full or partial scholarships that you can apply for once you're accepted to the given school. however, these types of scholarships are less likely to be advertised on the school websites (or i'm just having an awful time finding them...)

i'm hoping we can compile a list of schools that offer such scholarships, how much they're for, how many they offer each year, and if they are targeted at certain populations.

those of you with acceptances...can you contribute?

Duke gives 1.4 million in merit scholarships & 1.6 in need-based scholarships. I think that's per-year.
Either way, sign me up!

University of Miami gives scholarships.

I recall someone on SDN having scholarships from

Baylor College of Medicine as well.

UNC Chapell Hill also gives scholarships.
Washington University has scholarships too.

Case Western has about 10-12 scholarships per year that range from $20,000/year to full tuition.

thanks for the responses, guys.

i've heard that pitt has scholarships that are for people who want to have careers in academic medicine. anyone know anything about these?
