Going into my 3rd week of medical school and the volume is incredible!!! Takes some time to get used to this pace. In every class we are learning a ton of stuff. I feel like every professor thinks we are only taking his class. Right now we are taking gross, embryo, histo, ethics, doctoring, radiology, and biochem. Gross takes up so much time and we have to keep up with everything else too. I found myself the first week just trying to figure out how I am going to study. And it is only going to get worse. Right now we have 2 more weeks of material before our 1st set of exams. This is med school guys, get ready to give up your life. Well had to vent....back to studying.

Keep your head up. I think you'll get used to the pace and the volume will eventually seem normal. Perhaps the best thing you will learn is how to weed out the information that you need to know from the information that was presented.

Yep, they all say this and 98% get through. Good luck, I'm not looking forward to the adjustment, but I can at least hold on to the fact that nearly all who want to make it do make it.

That is a mountain of classes. we've got gross, histo, beh science, intro to clinical care and embryo. Starting class tomorrow.
