i remember a few threads discussing the potential value of and quality of various medical dictionaries and/or anatomy atlases. since the search button is nonexistant again, i was hoping for a few quick recommendations. i know of stedman's medical dictionary and netter's anatomy atlas. does anybody think that there are better alternatives to either of these? which would be most useful, the dictionary or the anatomy atlas?

I used both of the above mentioned and they both were more than satisfactory for my 1st year. Some people in my class used Netter and Clemente's Atlas....but most of us just used Netter.
My school gave out free Stedman's during "club day" so we didn't need to buy them. Check with 2nd, 3rd or 4th years and see...before you waste your $$$
