How hard is it to get into a medical dosimetry program w/o having been a radiation therapist? I found a local program in La Crosse, Wisconsin where a person with a B.S. degree can apply for admissions with only having certain courses taken.

I'm really attracted by the type of work that a dosimeter does and the salary.

Are there chances for participating in research?

I have all of the courses taken. I just thought I would never have the chance to get into this type of program without having gone to a radiation therapy program.

I'm so excited to have come across this program. Are there others out there? I can ask a local dosimeter to volunteer my time to get some "on the job training" if possible.
