Anyone know of some really good medical ethics resources?

I am trying to write a paper on the ethical principals involved in medical treatment of asylum-seeker children in detention in Australia, ie, where government policy may prevent you acting in the best interest of the patient, where the best thing for the patient is to be released from detention.

The catch is I'm not allowed to talk about the politics of it, it has to be a purely ethical discussion and I am having a lot of trouble finding resources on this that don't get political, also I can't find anything that directly argues ethical principles, they are all vague arguements that "mandatory detention is morally wrong", which a ten year old could tell me! 😳

Please help! I really need some sources that actually apply principles, eg autonomy, non-maleficience, benificience and justice. 😕

TIA!!

It's been awhile, but I think U Penn is known for their medical ethics research. I would Google ethics and U Penn and see what you come up with. Hope this helps!
