Medical informatics program rankings, competitiveness?

How hard is it to get into one of these programs?

I am interested in medical/clinical informatics, not bioinformatics.

I konw for a fact that there a a good number of medical/health/clinical informatics programs.....my opinion wouuld be that the competitiveness of the program would depend on the amount of research centers/institutes and funds that can go along with the program....The more renowned centers and research there is, the more competitive, I think....That's just my opinion.....Check out www.amia.org and look at the centers, institutes, etc...It can give you a clue...
