I've visited a few medical schools, none of which had pretty campuses. Are there any medical schools that have pretty campuses like some colleges do?

Here are some pictures of my school I took with my new digital camera!
This is an O school, WVSOM. I'm sure there are some tremendously beautiful MD school out there too.

All insides of libraries and hospitals are similar. The rest of the campus is just scenery on the way to either of these, give or take a Starbucks on the way.

NICE.

Imagine 30 years from now, you can go back with your children and be like, "Son I went there" and your kid would be impressed. :)

I'd like to see med schools with some nice, old-style classical architecture that makes you feel scholarly and intellectual, even though you're nothing but a lowly med student.

Vandy has a really nice campus, but of course I'm biased. National arboretum (or something)!

Northwestern's campus is very pretty- and its just a block away from the Magnificent Mile (think Chanel, LaPerla, Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Cartier... how much more beautiful can you get!) and a block from the water.

Yale was nice with a harry potter-style library and some classical architecture (not the gothic like their undergrad), though the dorms left something to be desired. Our guide descibed it as having been "designed by a second grader." Those that have seen it will know what I mean.

That would be awesome, but I'm sure my wallet will run dry while I'm busy paying for books and tuition!

Oh man, I can't even imagine going to campuses like the ones pictured. I've been a city girl all my life, and all that green field would be weird!

Duke's medical center is beautiful, and directly adjacent to the neo-Gothic undergrad campus.

Stanford, also nice, if you're into the architecture and the yuppies.

Baylor and UT-H are both one building inside of a massive medical center. The Baylor building is interesting. But the medical center is actually really nice, lots of trees and beautiful fountains.

University of Missouri is pretty nice. The only drawback is that it is, in fact, in Missouri. Although Jimmy John's has a faster response time to the ER there than most of the ambulances in the area, so that 's a plus.

Georgetown is ok, its pretty small and the undergrad area is much nicer than the medical school (besides the med-dent bld). I think i was spoiled at Cornell.

Most medical schools have no "campus" b/c most medical schools are where the hospitals are. The hospitals are where the sick people are. The sick people are where the other people are. The other people are in the city.

So... you're lucky if you get a tree.

I'm posting the link here due to copyright issues, but this is the view from OHSU, i'm not kidding. On a clear day you can also see Mt. St. Helen's. (the mountain in the photo is Mt. Hood, for the non-oregonians out there. there are 3 ski resorts on it, it's about 1.5 hrs from portland.)

My friend went to school in the Caribbean. She spent most of her time studying sitting on the beach right outside her apartment building. Then found out she was allergic to the sun.

I heard the Hopkins Med Center complex is incredible, but a few steps out of it, it becomes a pretty bad side of town.

I've heard that Texas Tech is really nice in person.

Since the computer at my work is ghey, I can't show you any pictures. Sorry guys, you'll have to google 'em yourself. But it is pretty nice!
