research AND senior thesis? i dont think i saw that as a requirement for any of those schools and i know ucsd doesnt require a thesis. perhaps we should state if schools requre research experience or research/senior thesis

when i interviewed at Umich this last fall they said it was a new requirement, or something to that effect, that you needed a senior thesis to graduate.
