Hello,
So I am a medical student who is offered the ability to directly start either pathway ( medicine or computer engineering ) one big factor that bothers me is that u study alot in MED school, if i switch to enginneering would i expect more free time? Plus i Love both fields but love CPE more, thanks!

It really depends on how computationally Saavy you are

Was an electrical engineer in the past. The two fields are very different in types of human interaction. Engineering is often filled with last minute projects that have to be done yesterday and a contract change can mean a high paying job can disappear overnight. If you can before deciding, take a leave from med school, and get a job interning or working at an engineering firm.

You are a med or premed student? why give up medicine at this point?

I saw that, but know of no med schools with opportunities to switch over to engineering.
(S)he's not from this country. When posts like this show up that make you scratch your head, it's usually because of that reason.

No one here can answer a question that appears to be specific to another country's standards and expectations.
