Our clinic (specializing in Rheumatology/Allergy) is seeking a college or healthcare professions student for a part-time medical scribe position. If you have stellar listening, spelling, grammar and typing skills, an interest in pursuing a career in the health field, and an uncanny ability to learn new words, this opportunity is for you! You will be responsible for accompanying the physician during the examination and entering the patient's history, examination, and physicians orders into the Electronic Medical Record. At the end of the shift, all notes will be reviewed with the physician and closed. We are located in the Texas Medical Center and shifts are available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays in the mornings (8am to noon) and afternoons (12:30 pm to 4:30pm). Pay rate is $10-12/ hour.
