My name is Harrison Wermuth, a current medical student at Michigan State Univerity College of Osteopathic Medicine in my third year. My colleague Kasseem Kakki and I are currently conducting research on the Opinions of Medical Malpractice. The link to the survey is: https://msu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7NBfJcUo7dQdg2x.
We anticipate it will take 15-20 minutes to successfully complete the survey. The survey will be collecting opinions on malpractice from our various cohorts (medical students, residents, attending physicians, law students, and attorneys) to see if there are variance in opinions. We anticipate after analyzing the data, we will be using the information to help guide creating a future educational course to future providers to hopefully increase patient safety, reduce malpractice claims and indemnity payouts.
