First off welocme to the forum. I am thinking about applying to Medical University of SC. Do you know much about it since you are from around there? Do they accept many out of state applicants?

MUSC is nice. It is downtown close to the beach and the historic district. The school is really one of the better ones that I have visited. The website does not do it any justice. I go again to talk to the director of enrollment on may 1. I can give you alot more info then, but as far as out-of-state; they look at ih state residents first then out of state, but apply there and try to visit.
