Medical volunteer work in AUS?

Hi everyone,

My name is Patrick, and I'm currently a senior in college here in the US currently applying to American medical schools. I am really interested in deferring my admission by a year so I could go to Australia to do relief work or volunteer work that is medicall related for about a year. Does anyone know where to look for such information or organizations? Let me know!
