Medicare Reimbursements Now Tied to Patients' Ratings

This has been going for years now. The "new" thing is they're going to start tying reimbursement to it although we knew that was coming. Overall it's a really bad idea but it's being done because the government knows that as we continue to socialize via Medicare and Medicaid medicine will become more like the DMV. So their response is make people happy or don't get paid.
The failure here is the inability of non medical people to understand that quality and patient satisfaction are often not just disconnected but opposed to each other.
