Hey everyone,
On behalf of the MedStar WHC OMFS Department I wanted to inform everyone that we will be offering a series of online externships starting this coming week to get to know prospective applicants for this coming interview cycle. As you can imagine the COVID pandemic has created challenges in our traditional approach to learning about OMS, externships, and applications. As of now, MedStar is still not hosting in-person externships but we are hoping that we will be able to resume in person externships in the fall!
Therefore, we are offering three virtual dates for Q&A sessions (via a Zoom platform) with attendings/residents from our department to educate prospective applicants about the residency program. We plan to have a short presentation followed by a Q&A session. Each of our sessions will start at 530pm (EST) and last about 60-90 minutes.
