Meeting with dean of admissions

What do you all think about requesting a meeting with the dean of admissions of a school that I'm waitlisted at? Has anyone done this in the past...and been successful? Thanks!

Ive heard it being done before...I think its a good idea if you want to discuss current and future options...its also good that the dean can put a face on your app as well...go for it, it cant hurt, it can only help you! Good luck! 👍

I think it's a great idea. You might get some tips as for what you can do to strengthen your app and improve your chances of acceptance. I tried to set up such a meeting at a school I'm waitlisted at, but I found out the dean is only meeting with rejected students at this point. But it doesn't hurt to ask.
