Meharry Students- Housing/Commuting/Life

Just wanted to know if anyone is going to Meharry Medical College and if so-where in the world are you going to live? I'm especially interested in current students who can attest to actual driving conditions in Nashville. (since I'm told EVERY road is under construction) I think I'm going to stay down in Antioch which, I'm told, is a 30-35 min commute. I'd like to stay on the West side but can't afford it on the school budget by myself. Also, if anyone knows of some flats that are open in the area I'd be all over that!

I'd appreciate any help b/c I'm getting nervous not having a place yet and want to get the search over with.
