I am taking the August mcat and applying to Meharry medical college this year. I have been accepted to the summer HCOP there. What advantages are there in participating in this program. Will it help me get into Meharry this year even if I have some holes in my application? Thanks for your reponse.

Hey Bachus,

I have been accepted to the HCOP program as well. I received an e-mail and a phone call about the acceptance. But, I still haven't received any other info about the program; i.e. like what to bring and where to report. I am really excited about it and think it will be very beneficial in our applications next cycle. I did hear that if we do good enough, we are automatically accepted into next year's class....now that's motivating!
