I'm very interested in MGH and Brigham. I wan to pursue a career in possibly pain and want to opportunity to become involved in business ventures (have an MBA). I liked both programs and they both have great things to offer to any applicant. I want to go to a top program with a great reputation that will allow me to get involved in unique opportunities, like business, political action, leadership,etc...However, I want to make sure I have fun, fit in, and am happy during residency. Any ideas on which program would be best?

Thanks!

I think that would be up to you. Both programs will offer you great training...which program did you like the residents more?

The first program that just came into your head after reading that question is the program you should choose.

Haha. I think that's what everyone things. I believe it's just b/c they want to get to know you. Appreciate any comparisons of the two programs from anyone. Thanks.

Is it spent mostly interviewing? How many interviews?

i feel MGH has more opportunities while BWH seems the happier residency. which is more important to you?

BWH has an interesting clinical bioengineering fellowship that focuses on design, implementation, and evaluation of anesthesia-related technologies. If you are interested in getting into the medical device business, this would be something to consider.
