Hi all,
My interests are in global health and epi. Ive narrowed my choices down to these schools that I have been accepted to, Michigan, Emory and USC. Academically I lean towards Michigan then Emory. I live in CA and hope to end up at least beginning my career in CA. Going to Emory or Michigan will help me obtain a great education and a recognizable MPH degree. However I beleve USC will provide me with stronger initial work connections in CA, plus I live here. Ive thought about this all a lot, I was just wondering if anybody had anything worthwhile to chime in. Im getting pretty anxious about making the right decision by deadlines so any help wout be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Michigan and Emory would probably also give you a lot of meaningful connections.

My vote would be Michigan > Emory >>> USC.
USC is not all that bad of a program, and if you really wanted to stay near home, I'd recommend staying at USC. For costs though, UCLA is not a bad program either. There are some connections there as well.

Michigan is an awesome campus. I am planning on going there for my PhD (hopefully!). I have no opinions on Emory.
