Yeah, so someone asked about Michigan scholarships earlier. They're notifying already...
You got one? how many are awarded?
Wow, congrats, RA. How'd you hear? Email?
forgive my ignorance...i dozed off during the fin aid presentation... (look, it was a 5 hour drive after i got home from work, and i got caught in the middle of a hurricane on the way)
what scholarship is being referred ot here? is it a full scholarship? and how do i get me one of those...
Not I that is the bada$$ one, but it's like full tuition or something. Emailed.
You guys are obsessed with stats...not playing the game... In any case, it's not even an option to say, since it's not me.
I agree that in terms of acceptances, stats are not really a qualifier, but i think that in terms of scholarships they are more closely analyzed...
oh baby. this medapp is going to umich for free!!!!!!
oh yeah. full tuition scholarhip all four years.
i am so happy!!!
(i am sure you will all ask for my stats, but i think i'll just leave it at very good).
ps- i think they give them on a semi-rolling basis, so don't be disappointed if you haven't heard yet. i think they make another round of offers in the spring!
MedApp2003, did you submit the short financial aid form on the status website? My parents haven't motivated to get me that info yet, and I'm just wondering if that means I won't be considered for the scholarship yet...Thanks!
i didn't submit the financial thing.
the scholarships are merit-based, so i don't think they care about your need.
good luck! i know they make another round of offers later, so hopefully you will get one then!!
Congrats!!! That's like winning the lottery for like 200,000 bones. One question. Are you in state, or out of state?
i am out of state.
were you notified at the same time or after your acceptance letter?
notified after acceptance (about month later).
