Michigan status page message- Does this mean I'm on hold?

I'm taking that to mean that my file is complete and I can be rejected, interview, or held so that I can be compared to other applicants.

No, the hold message is something like:

Your file has undergone its prelimiary review. Current status is "hold." Please be patient. No interview decision has been made. You will be notified if your status changes.

I had that message, but was fortunate to get off the hold list and invited to interview in december

My status page says: requesting LOR's and if all the boxes below are checked, your application is under review.

My status page date is 08/30/05. I sent in all my stuff by early/mid Sept and haven't heard from them yet....

How does it take for them to make a decision?!

so how long does it take for the application to be reviewed? i have had the same status as the OP for like a month now, but haven't been moved to hold. Is that a good sign, a bad sign, or no discernible sign?
