Recently gained a second acceptance to WVU and I am on the fence deciding where to attend. I was fortunate enough to take a quick trip and see both schools/areas. After touring, I can honestly see myself in either place even though they are both far from home.

Midwestern - IL

Pros:
-brand new facilities
-close to Chicago
- no specialty programs
-class attendance not required

Cons:
-cost of attendance (including cost of living)
-weather
-town not very sociable
-have to commute between campus and clinic
-bigger class size

WVU

Pros:
-located at a Big 12 school (sporting events in spare time)
-ease of public transit around area
-beautiful scenery and outdoor recreation
-HSC hosts everything you need
-cheap cost of living

Cons
-somewhat outdated facilities and tech
-in class attendance required
-mountain roads difficult to drive at times

Any advice from alum or current students would be greatly appreciated! I’m leaning more toward WVU with the cheaper cost of attendance, but the facilities at Midwestern are much more accommodating/up to date.
