Military Rotations/ Residencies

Hey all,

I'm a MSI HPSP'er trying to look forward to planning my rotations. Are there any lessons learned out there that you can share? Since HPSP only really pays for one military rotation per year, how did you all work your electives and get more military experience and get set up for the residency you want?
