This is highly unusual, psychology is a required course! I didn't know that until I looked my secondary. It's too late for me to take it now. That means I have no chance to get in this school? If they give me interview I can only argue I have a master in econ which gives me good foundation in social sciences. Grrr, too bad for a guy with 37 mcat.

They emailed me about it before they considered me for an interview. You could just tell them that you are planning on taking it in the first session of summer school.... (Of course, if you get in, you will actually need to do that, so make sure you don't have something else planned for that time...)

same thing happened with me. i said i would take it at a community college this semester (i already graduated). i start next week. i already interviewed and if they put me on the waitlist or reject me, i'm dropping the course.

Make sure you check to see if any other classes that you took in undergrad/grad school can take the place for the required psychology course. I never took a psychology course but I took a sociology course that had a psychology component. I had to send them a copy of the course description and they accepted that course in place of psych.
