Minors

Hi I was wondering are minors important at all? I currently haven't declared a minor (thinking noone would care) but it appeared in the AMCAS app In fact I was gonna go without a minor... Any opinions?

Minors and double majors have no impact on the application process.

Just like other things in the medical application process, don't do a minor just because you think it might "look good". If you are particularly interested in studying other stuff, go ahead and minor. If you aren't going to like doing it, its not going to be worth it.

OK so minors have no impact thanks a lot I'm only 1 class away and I figured I would have plenty of time to declare before I grad so I just didn't bother with it.

Declare it if it would make you feel good to see it on your transcript, but not because you think adcomms will care.
