Missing Transcript???

Hey guys, is it common for aacomas to take sometime to place your transcript into your file?


2 weeks ago, I requested that my missing transcript be sent to aacomas and to my parent's house so I could judge arrival time. My parents got the missing transcript last Monday. So, aacomas should have my transcript, but when I called they said that it hasn't arrived yet. I've sent it twice.

Any thoughts?

This is a similar situation that happened to me. When I sent my transcripts in (early July), they were about four days behind in mail. I'm sure with the applicant pool so high now, it will be at least a week and a half before they actually get to that pile of mail.

I sent both of mine back in June. I just submitted the app yesterday, and saw that they don't have either!!! Amcas got both back in June. What are they doing over there in Chevy Chase??? How can they loose so much mail?

Well, I just called and they checked to see if they were there yet. Still not there. They should be there. To me, if you have tons of mail coming in, why would wouldn't they hire extra help to sort the mail and to help expedite the process?

It doesn't make sense to me to let the mail back up. I know they get tons of it, but that just seem to me that they should hire temp workers during the busy seasons like the do at the mall for Christmas.
