Hi everyone,

I submitted my application on September 14th and just realized my email was misspelled in the personal information section but obviously correct on ERAS. Is there a chance that I could've missed an important email/rejection over the weekend? Or do rejections come through ERAS? I know I'm being paranoid but you know how anxiety works?

It's unlikely you've gotten anything major over the very first weekend apps were open. There's an ERAS inbox that *most* communication goes to anyway. That said, some programs do choose to just send out emails - so it's not impossible. Just the timing is such that it's no big deal.

You have no way of knowing and it would be really silly to contact programs to let them know of the error, so just fix it and move on.

Will it update automatically to the programs?

Yes. Your contact information is one of the few things that you can update after submission and it gets updated on the program side. In the old system with downloading it might take some time to get to all the programs, but I think with the web interface that they're using these days it gets to all of them immediately.
