Hey guys,

So my dad is a physician and I put down where he did his residency as the school name, instead of the actual school he went to. Problem is, I'm applying to the school he did his residency in, and I'm worried that they might red flag it? Should I call to explain or just wait and see if they ask me about it

This is a minor error that is unlikely to be noticed. Just let it be

Some people will list residency as the highest educational acheivement... no one is likely to notice or to care. If anything, you might be considered a legacy because Dad did his residency there, although maybe not.
