So, I just submitted my application and realized a tiny mistake. My mom is a nurse practitioner and these days they usually get a Master's degree. Well, she just told me that wasn't available to them when she went through and her degree was just a bachelor in science. Will this be a huge deal? It doesn't seem important to me but I didn't know.

Probably will not be an issue at all. Contact AMCAS and ask what they'd like you to do. That is just for demographics as far as I can tell (of what % of students that matriculate/apply have parents with post-high school ed, etc)
