Okay... the quick answer is that you're not really ready to submit a solid application for MD until you can get that science GPA up. Your BCP GPA is 3.29, so that is promising to me, but only if you have done some solid networking with admissions staff around your state and SNMA chapters in those schools. If you are intent on getting an MD, 510+ is the target. But I would not apply without clinical hours or experience; there are too many good students, even those from URiM, 1G backgrounds who have at least done their clinical hours.

Now, working as a caregiver in an employed manner working with the elderly could be considered clinical. Who supervised/trained you? EMT also can count towards clinical hours, especially if you were a community EMT (not campus-based... having weird issues with faculty on this).

Is your total science GPA a 3.29 or a 2.95?

You really aren’t ready to apply and probably won’t be for awhile. I understand about the cost of a SMP. I have never heard of a SMP at a community college. Where did you hear about this? Or do you mean post bacc? That is probably what you should do now. You have to get your sGPA over 3.2 . You also need 50 hours of physician shadowing and 200+ hours with clinical experiences. Your clinical experiences can be paid or volunteer as long as they are face to face with the sick or injured. Based on your sGPA you aren’t ready to take the MCAT. So hold off on taking that until you take additional upper level science courses.
Understand that there are no guarantees in this process. Even if you do everything right you might not get accepted so always have backup plan. Also seriously consider DO schools. They might be a viable path to becoming a physician.
