I just took the AAMC10 and scored 11PS and 9BS. I had taken KP-FL3 two days before and scored 14PS and 13BS while getting roughly the same percentage of questions correct. There is quite a discrepancy here and I was wondering if I am supposed to have fluctuations like these.

The scaling for the AAMC tests and Kaplan tests are different... AAMC tends to be stricter (ie: 1 question wrong could be a 14, while with kaplan, 5 questions wrong may be a 14). I would trust my AAMC scores more than my Kaplan scores, but practice with both. Your real MCAT will land somewhere between the two ranges, closer to your AAMC range most likely.

prep companies always prepare you for their test. Their is no real way to tell how you are going to do untill you take the real thing. Just try to know as much about all the topics.

Aww I was feeling pretty damn good about my scores, but I guess I still have some more to study. I wish kaplan would change their grading scale and stop getting my hopes up.
