In kaplan subject tests, several answer explanations says that mollusks have a mantle that secretes calcium for their skeleton and the echinoderms have endoskeletons made of calcarius plates.

But then another explanation says that mollusks have mantles that secretes calcarius.

Is calciums and calcarius the same and interchangeable?

someone please clarify
