Any advice for getting student bank loans for a "M(ake)D(o)" education? Canadians are usually not eligible for federally-funded loans.

Actually, look into a private loan. Interest rates are not that far off from federally subsidized loans. You prospective schools should be able to tell you all kinds of lenders with whom they are affiliated! Good luck!
