Folks, here's an idea. One of the problems with a MD pursuing a research oriented career, via postdoc in industry or academia, is the lack of funds and the loss of clinical skills during the publishing period. Is it possible for one to moonlite, after an internal medicine residency, to not only supplement the grant income but to also develop/maintain the clinical skills to later find full time employment as a clinician?

here's a really stupid question: what do you mean moonlite?
