say i apply to d-school and they see on my
transcript that i took majority of my classes at cc and the rest in a university, will that hurt me? presuming my gpa is good and DATs are good as well.

i have 70 units from cc and will have ~40 from a uni-but i will have graduated
with a BA in chem from the university-im just nervous that it may hurt me.

I may hurt you a little bit, as it is not very favorable to most schools.

However, I don't think that it will be devastating to you.

To resurrect yourself from this situation you could always take an extra year at the university. I wouldn't do this unless advised, or if you feel it essential for your mental health :p

:DHey, I took 105 quarter units at my local community college, including all prereqs, and 76 quarter units at a 4year U. I had to work full time at two job to support my parents, so I had to take night classes at a CC. Even though CC is not as great as any 4 year, its not too bad either. I got accepted this year at NOVA (first time applied).

I've got like 30 units (semester units too) at my local CC too. Nice GPA boost too :)
