Is it type IIb (familial combined hypelipidemia) or type IV(familial hyper triglyceridemia)?

Wikipedia graph says its type IV, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Relative_prevalence_of_familial_hyperlipoproteinemias.png

but a lot of random posts in forums claim its type IIb.

from the replies to my previous most common qn in this forum, i understand all these are low yield,

but isnt it possible step1 could come up with a "which of the following is most likely" qn (with similar presentation as both types) once in a while ?

According to Harrisons, familial combined hyperlipidemia is the most common inherited lipid disorder, occurring in approximately 1 in 200 persons....

Just want to confirm what addo said, we're going over this very topic in path class now. Combined (IIb, increased LDL & VLDL from some mutation involving LDL-receptor) hyperlipidemia is the most common inherited lipid disorder. 1 in 5 people with early (<age 60) coronary disease have IIb. However, you could say type IV (familial hypertriglyceridemia, increased VLDL & triglycerides due to lipoprotein lipase mutation) is second most common.
