Looking at page 216 of First Aid 2008, it says that the most common metastasis to the liver is colon > stomach > pancreas > breast > lung.

Looking at page 386 of RR Path, it says that metastasis is the most common liver tumor with lung being (most common). VIII B. 1. a./b.

Am I completely misreading something or is someone way off? Seems like a big difference from fifth to first. Can anyone shed some light on this?

goljan explicitly says Lung in one of his lectures but ive always learned it as colon. in the end, no question will ask this specifically without more information.

UW says the most common is metastatic from: breast, lung and colon.

I am learning it that way, UW people seem to know their stuff.
